Oswego Fire Protection District EMS

At the Oswego Fire Protection District, we take pride in our commitment to providing exceptional pre-hospital care to our community through our Emergency Medical Services. All of our firefighters are licensed paramedics who, over the past few years, have responded to an average of 4,300 medical emergencies annually.

We have come a long way since the 1970s when we started offering basic life support services. As the needs of our community evolved, so did our EMS capabilities. By the 1990s, we had expanded to include highly trained paramedics who provide advanced life support services.

Currently, we staff four ALS ambulances and four ALS non-transport vehicles stationed at each of our locations. Additionally, our personnel are equipped with state-of-the-art technology and equipment that enables them to offer advanced medical care in the field.

Our Advanced Life Support (ALS) services are provided under the guidance of the Southern Fox Valley EMS System, based out of Northwestern Medicine Delnor Hospital.

As an organization, we are constantly evolving and growing to ensure that we meet the ever-changing needs of our residents. At the Oswego Fire Protection District, we are proud to provide our community with exceptional EMS services.
