C. P. R. Classes

The Oswego Fire Protection District offers Community CPR classes to persons who work or reside in the Oswego Fire Protection District at a cost of $30 per person.  CPR courses are taught under the American Heart Association guidelines for both Healthcare Providers and civilian rescuers.  Healthcare provider classes are intended for individuals that are responsible for caring for others, such as Doctors, Nurses, and EMT’s.  The Heartsaver AED course is intended for all other individuals interested in learning these valuable life saving skills.  Both courses teach how to recognize and treat life-threatening emergencies, including cardiac arrest and choking for adult, children, infants and the use of an automated external deliberator.  First Aid and Environmental Emergencies classes are held at the conclusion of the Heartsaver AED Classes for an additional $15 per person.  Classes are held the second Saturday of every month at 8am at the Oswego Fire Department Central Station #1, 3511 Woolley Road, Oswego.  Upon course completion all participants will receive a certification card from the American Heart Association via US mail.    For questions, or to register for an up coming class, please contact Firefighter/Paramedic Dave Sackett at (630) 554-2110 or fill out and submit the below form.  Registration is required prior to all classes.     2012/2013 Class Dates   Heartsaver AED/First Aid Healthcare Provider November 10th December 8th January 12th February 9th March 9th April 13th May 11th June 8th July 13th August 10th September 14th October 12th November 9th December 14th
