The Oswego Fire Protection District offers Community CPR classes to persons who work or reside in the Oswego Fire Protection District at a cost of $30 per person. Both courses teach how to recognize and treat life-threatening emergencies, including cardiac arrest and choking for adult, children, infants and the use of an automated external deliberator. First Aid and Environmental Emergencies classes are held at the conclusion of the Heartsaver AED Classes for an additional $15 per person. Classes are held the second Saturday of every month at 8am at the Oswego Fire Department Central Station #1, 3511 Woolley Road, Oswego. Upon course completion all participants will receive a certification card from the American Heart Association via US mail.
