C. P. R. Classes

The Oswego Fire Protection District offers Community CPR classes to residences at a cost of $15 per person.  CPR courses are taught under the American Heart Association guidelines for both Healthcare Providers and civilian rescuers.  Healthcare provider classes are intended for individuals that are responsible for caring for others, such as Doctors, Nurses, and EMT’s.  The Heartsaver AED course is intended for all other individuals interested in learning these valuable life saving skills.  Both courses teach how to recognize and treat life-threatening emergencies, including cardiac arrest and choking for adult, children, infants and the use of an automated external deliberator.  First aid classes are also available upon request.  Classes are held the second Saturday of the every month, at 8am, at the Oswego fire Department Station #1, 59 main Street, Oswego.  Upon course completion all participants will receive a certification card from the American Heart Association via Mail.  For questions or to register for an up coming class please contact Lt.
